Boundary technologies is a consumer security hardware and software startup. Boundary aims to bring affordable, effective and pro-active home security to the masses via innovative, market leading technology products.

Can you answer the question, how do you scale without making Facebook and Google rich? 

The successful candidate will work as part of the marketing team (possibly leading it) focusing on growth hacking initiatives. This means customer acquisition via anything other than just pumping cash into Facebook/PPC/Instagram. 

Starting with deep understanding of the customer base is essential. From here the watering holes and efficient targeting strategies will be revealed! 

Experience leading within venture funded B2C business useful experience.

Your Skills:

Marketing (not pantone) Metrics not brand. Growth hacking, not above the line. Awareness, acquisition, activation, revenue, retention and referral. Creativity/innovation examples from previous roles.

Your Experience:

Experience in high volume B2C business managing multi-million budgets + Experience in Viral driven customer acquisition/ Network effects.

Your Deliverables:

Delivery of growth initiatives that reduce CAC within the business. This could be scrappy PR ideas, innovative partnerships or nifty widgets (check out our on-site estimator tool) and product enhancements.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to ‘wear several hats’

Boundary is currently working fully remotely. When government guidelines allow, we will once again move into office space. We expect that each member of the team spends one day a month in the office for all-hands meetings, with the rest of the month being flexible (you can choose to work from home or in the office).

Boundary technologies was founded in 2018 by technology entrepreneurs Robin Knox and Paul Walton in the response to a need for a cost effective and intelligent intruder alarm system. Previously, the two founders built and sold Edinburgh based software company intelligentpos to iZettle which was later acquired by PayPal.
